Getting Around
The easiest way to move around Jimbaran and greater Bali is the Grab app, Southeast Asia’s equivalent of Uber. It works for both cars and motorbikes, with transparent pricing and cashless payment. Blue Bird is the most reliable metered taxi company if you prefer to hail a ride.

Money & Changing Cash
Indonesia’s currency is the Rupiah (IDR). Always use authorized money changers — look for the official PT Central Kuta or BMC branding, and count your money carefully before leaving the counter. Avoid changers offering rates that seem too good; they are the most common source of short-changing.

Temple & Cultural Etiquette
Bali is deeply spiritual, and small gestures of respect are always appreciated. You will see canang sari — small woven offerings of flowers — placed on the ground, at shrines, and in doorways. Never step over or on them.

Tipping
